About Husky Boy Woodworking

I have been woodworking for over three years now, and prior to that I had 10+ years in the construction/home improvement industry.

I had been stuck behind a desk at a job I liked, but didn't love for about 5 years. During that time, I always felt a yearning to getting back to doing things with my hands, building, making, creating. I had long wanted to start a woodworking business, but as it often happens, life got in the way. Then, after a long bout with a variety of illnesses, my mother passed away. She was a very talented person when it came to sewing and all things crafty, but very few people got to chance to see that side of her. Her loss brought into focus my goal, my dream and ultimately what I wanted to spend my time doing. I decided life was too short too not chase the dream, and Husky Boy Woodworking was born.

Quality first is the motto here at Husky Boy Woodworking. It's my mission statement and I feel it embodies all that I do. If I wouldn't want it in my home, then it's not good enough for your home. That pursuit of quality is what drives me. I want every piece I build to be a piece that my customer absolutely falls in love with as soon as they see it. Honestly, that's the best feeling in the world as a woodworker and that's why I do what I do.
